Dr. Robert L. King, D.V.M.
Dr. King was raised on a dairy farm which afforded him the opportunity to be exposed to virtually all species of domesticated animals. It also exposed him to veterinary medicine, resulting in an easy choice when selecting a career.
He graduated from Purdue University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1968. After practicing briefly in Indiana, Dr. King moved to Massachusetts -- opening a practice a third of a mile from the present location. Initially the practice was mainly large animal medicine, with the occasional pet seen in the evening.
Over the years, the small animal practice grew, and the large animal practice declined, as economics forced many dairy farmers to move to other states or retire from dairy farming.
Dr King has been practicing small animal medicine exclusively for 25 years.
Presently Dr King enjoys the companionship of his three cats and two dogs. When time permits, he relaxes by working on the land, reading and traveling.

In her free time, Dr. Mulryan enjoys horseback riding and attending obedience classes with her dogs. She shares her home with Fozzie (a golden retriever), Barkley (a pointer mix), and her three cats, Wicket, Wembley and Pippin.

Dr. Harriet Blanton, D.V.M.
Growing up as one of three siblings on a Missouri farm, Dr. Blanton always knew exactly what she wanted to be when she grew up. A veterinarian, of course! "Who could imagine a better job than playing with animals all day?" says Dr. Blanton, who received her D.V.M. degree from Washington State University in 1991.
Dr. Blanton specializes in internal medicine, and is particularly interested in animal behavior and the human-animal bond. Her most memorable veterinary experience so far has been setting the broken leg of a "sweet, pregnant rat." Dr. Blanton's hard work was well-rewarded when the rat's one-year-old owner brought her pet back to the hospital a month later -- accompanied by a litter of eight!
Dr. Blanton stays active with snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, and scuba diving. In her free time, she enjoys spinning wool, knitting, and baking. She shares her home with Jen, a three-legged "mutt"; two cats (multi-toed kitty Josie, and Holly, who was Josie's foster "mom"); Wally and Marty the two cockatiels; and her 18-year-old gopher snake.

Grooming
Susan Campbell has been grooming for over 5 years. She graduated from Becker College with an associate's degree in Animal Science and is a member of the NEPGP (New England Pet grooming Professionals).
Susan always wanted to work with animals and chose Grooming as her way to be a positive force in the animal world.
She enjoys working with all breeds of dogs and cats. One of Susan's most memorable experiences was grooming a toy poodle that was so badly matted and uncomfortable that it took her over 1-1/2 hours to shave him down completely. This was her most rewarding experience because he was so much more comfortable and happy when he was done. Much better looking too!
Susan has 2 dogs and one cat that live with her. Daisy aka (Marshmallow Girl) a boxer, Cutie aka Evil one a Tibetan Spaniel, and Clyde aka Boo Bear a cat. The nicknames more or less describe their personality.
Her assistant, Caitlin Lucier, attended Becker College for a short time where she attended grooming classes; She found that this is what really interested her. Caitlin is now working with Susan to learn the grooming trade. Caitlin has been around with animals all of her life. She has raised and shown rabbits, but admits she has a soft spot for dogs.
Caitlin lives with Lydia, her Japanese Chin, and Jack the Shih Tzu. Jack is a frisky little fellow that is always in some type of trouble. Lydia is a calm sweet girl that was rescued from Second Chance animal shelter.
Wickaboag Veterinary Clinic Welcomes Susan and Caitlin to our team.
